The following is an outline view of the new Church Council structure implemented by the Gloria Dei Church Council. The congregation elects and directs the Church Council, The Church Council appoints and supervises the Discipleship Chairpersons, the Discipleship Chairpersons appoint and supervisor the Team Leaders, and the Team Leaders appoint and supervise the the team members. Not all of the discipleships have Team Leaders. This structure will allow the Church Council to assume more of a visionary and supervisory role and will also spread the work required of operating a large church among more volunteers.
