On Sunday mornings, do you notice how few cars are on the road when you’re going to church? Do you find it sad that so many people miss the chance to spend a little time with God, getting to know him better?

Some of us like to dream crazy things — like getting caught in traffic jams on the way to church. We don’t have any great ideas for how to do it. And we have no Billy Grahams among us. But we take Christ’s command to spread the word seriously enough to look into a variety of options.

• Conducted and modified the Visitor Host program to help identify visitors, make them feel more welcome and assist Pastor while greeting people after church.
   
• Created informational visitor packets to hand out.
   
• Promoted inviting a friend to church for Easter and to the summer outdoor service.
   
• Invited unchurched VBS families to church through personalized letters.
   
• Placed $500 worth of additional Bibles in pews for people to take if they wanted to. Placed bookplates inside each.
   
• Updated membership bulletin board of photos.
   
• Installed large temporary sign on front lawn for summer outdoor service and kept smaller sign on carport current.
   
• Continued College Student Ministry program to remember students in various ways throughout the year.
