 Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

 Gloria Dei has a history of responding generously to needs within our congregation and in the community. So we are confident that you will open your hearts - wide - this time and embrace the Southers family with your prayers and financial support.

 Keegan Scot and his twin brother Wyatt Campbell were born July 8, 2009. From the beginning Keegan has struggled valiantly against difficult physical odds. He continues as a patient at Children's Hospital, where an implanted pacemaker sustains him as he awaits a heart transplant. Needless to say, the emotional and financial challenges to his parents, Julie and Bruce, are tremendous.

 Here is where YOU come in:

 We are hosting a benefit, THE HEART OF A CHILD, on May 21 at the church. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an opportunity to socialize over appetizers, followed by a buffet dinner at 7:00 p.m. Both a silent and a live auction will be included in the evening's program.
