Welcome to the Sunday School Program at Gloria Dei. We sincerely hope that this year will bring your child another step closer to understanding God’s love and great works.

 Sunday School Music is each Sunday 9:50-10:10 for Preschool through Grade 6.    The children will sing in two groups (Preschool-Grade 2 and Grades 3-6) at the beginning of 11:00 am worship services on the dates below.  Please take special note of the Christmas program and practice!

                       November 16 – 11:00 am worship

                  December 6 – Christmas rehearsal @ 10:30-noon

                 December 7 – Christmas program @ 11:00 am worship

Please note that Preschool-Grade 2 students sing immediately after the announcements and then sit with their parents.  Grades 3-6 sing after the Children’s Sermon and sit in the Choir Loft.  If a child needs to leave it is fine to slip out quietly. 

Grades 3-6 will be wearing robes soon, and I would welcome a couple of helpers to assist with fitting and assigning robes.  We will also need help with Christmas costumes as December approaches.  If you are willing, please let me know. 

A Note from the Sunday School Music Teacher:

Sunday School Christmas Program

Grades P-6th will present “Stars! Angels! Shepherds! Kings!” on Dec. 7 at 11:00 am worship. 

 

    The Christmas Program is Dec. 7th during 11:00 am worship service.  Children can access the music to practice at home on the church website www.gloriadei-nky.org.  Full rehearsal is Saturday, Dec. 6th using the following schedule:

            10:30               Arrival and locate seat assignments in the Sanctuary
            10:35               Song #1 (all students)
            10:40               Song #2 (Preschool-K)
            10:50               Songs #3-6 (Grades 1-6)
                                   Preschool-K crafts & snacks (making sparkle gloves for costumes)
            11:20               Song #7 (all students)
            11:30               Dismissal of Preschool-Kindergarten
                                   Costuming for grades 1-6
            11:45               Dismissal of 1-6 graders

 Parents are welcome to attend the rehearsal, and we still need a few more volunteers to help with the crafts and snacks!
