 Martha Circle 

Martha Circle meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. on the 4^th Monday in the homes of circle members with refreshments and fellowship.  At 7:30 devotions, a business meeting, prayer concerns, and our program follow. We may hear from Simon Kenton or a Roman centurion, discuss a book such as The Poisonwood Bible, learn about ways to better health or cooking with herbs, or take a field trip to a cathedral or the Garden of Hope.  We try a different prayer activity each month.  Our projects include creating Easter bags for the mothers and children at the Women’s Crisis Center, assembling health kits and school kits for Lutheran World Relief, making diapers out of old t-shirts for Honduran hospitals, donating to the needy at Christmas, and sending gifts to members of the armed forces.  We contribute food items for church events during the year.  Our work is balanced with a summer night out at a restaurant and a potluck Christmas banquet and ornament exchange.  We consider each other sisters – not just as sisters in Christ, but genuine family members who are there for each other.  Please join our family if you would like to share one night a month with other Christian friends.
