The prayer group at Gloria Dei are people who strongly believe in prayer in
the church. We will be putting something new on this page of the Gloria Dei web site every
week to promote prayer in the church.

Americans designate one day a year as a National Day of Prayer. Do we have any right to
ask mayors and senators to show up for a special event, with the television cameras
rolling, if we don't have regular prayer meeting in our Churches? If praying is that
important, why don't we do it every week?
