It is the purpose of Gloria Dei Preschool to provide each child with genuine care and love in a safe, nurturing environment. Each child will be recognized as a special individual and given the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally, physically and mentally.

School hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. This time period meets the need of parents for greater flexibility in their own time management.

Gloria Dei Lutheran Preschool is a unique program in which children are encouraged and motivated to learn through a hands on learning experience. Class size consists of only 10 children per teacher with an aide assisting in art classes. The small class size is designed to give each child more individual attention. Our hard working staff continues to provide a curriculum that builds the whole child.

What makes our preschool special? Our program offers a diverse way to learn by rotating from classroom to classroom to the different learning centers. Art class may be messy at times, but the children are using their imagination where the process of their creativity is being used. "What’s is in the tactile table teacher?" It could be anything from shaving cream to mashed potatoes! And for the science experiment, let’s see if this volcano will erupt today? Story time is fun for the children too. They love to interact with flannel stories and puppets using their imaginations. The children can’t wait to see what is in the Dramatic Play room. Could it be Pet Hospital, a Safari Jungle, or Outer Space? The day continues with our Free Play centers which the children play learning games, play with manipulatives to practice their small motor skills, and the 4’s use the computers with educational programs. You’ll always hear happy little voices when walking through the hallways, even singing and playing musical instruments from the Music Room. If you are wanting to hear loud voices, just visit our large indoor and  outdoor play area where the children are having fun with all their friends. Learning and fun, developing the whole child is what we do at Gloria Dei Preschool.
