What I do:

I am in charge of youth, education, groups and service opportunities.  Sounds like a lot but it all works together. | I get to spend my week praying, playing and guiding the many youth and families at Gloria Dei. I love my job and I love the people I work with. I am constantly trying to find ways to extend my love for Jesus to others.  Currently, I am working with two new teams to develop long term service opportunities and youth involvement.

Rebecca Behbehani Biography

I was born and raised in northern Indiana. I am the youngest of three siblings, and the proud Aunt to Grace, Eleni and Sanjay. I spent my summers going to camps, and fell in love with all things outdoors. I attended Capital University (Lutheran college), in Columbus, Ohio and graduated there with a degree in Communications. During my summers in college I worked at the Lutheran camps in Indiana. After graduation, I packed up my things and headed west. I worked as the Program Director for Outlaw Ranch (Lutheran Camp) in Custer, South Dakota.

I then ventured south, to Chattanooga, TN, where I served as the Director of Family and Education Ministries at Trinity Lutheran Church.  God said that it was time to move on and put several Gloria Dei people in place to get me here.  I have served at Gloria Dei since 2005.  In September of 2011, I married my best friend, and seriously the most awesome guy I know, Andy Behbehani.

 I have revolving hobbies, right now they include reading everything I can on my Kindle, drinking coffee and trying to make things that I find on pinterest.com.
